Michel E. Lussier, MS BME, MBA, Chief Executive Officer

Michel founded Medpole after spending three years at Novoste Corporation as Vice President General Manager, European Operations, leading the foundation of the company in Europe. Under his leadership, over 100 centres in 26 countries adopted the therapy. Prior to Novoste, Michel founded and led the European subsidiary of InControl Corp, until its acquisition by Guidant. Michel brings 15 years of operational experience with Medtronic Inc, where he drove the company's core business in Europe as Business Director, Cardiac Pacing. Additionally, Michel has chaired a number of committees within Eucomed, as well as serving on several start-up boards for medical devices. Michel holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Montreal, as well as an MBA from INSEAD.

Christian Homsy, MD, MBA, Chief Operating Officer

Christian is a Physician by training with specialization in orthopaedic surgery. He gained his business experience in senior Research & Development, Marketing and Sales positions, working for a leading medical device company, Guidant Corporation. Christian excelled in building businesses with well respected teams, setting standards inside and outside the organization. He was also founder of Guidant Institute for Therapy Development, a landmark facility for Physician and Health Care professionals' education that gained international recognition and praise. Christian holds an MBA from IMD.

Bertrand Grimmonpre, Director Finance

Bertrand has a finance & tax management education. He spent his first 5 years in the automotive & car rental business holding several positions within finance & ops in various countries (Belgium, Germany, Portugal, UK). In 2001 he took the position of Europe Financial Controller for Novoste Europe, until the foundation of Medpole. During last years, Bertrand has also participated to the creation and the development of new MedTech start-ups (Volcano Europe, Director Finance & Operations 2003-2005) and Biotech starts-ups (Cardio³, Director Finance).

 Sophie Henry, Director of Clinical Operations and Regulatory Affairs

Sophie is a biomedical engineer by education.  During the past 9 years, Sophie has held various positions within the Clinical Research Department at Guidant Europe, successfully conducting her team through challenging clinical programs.  She joined Medpole in her current position in early 2006.
