Michel Lussier, MS Biomedical Engineering,  MBA — Chief Executive Officer

Michel Lussier founded Medpole in 2002 and is currently Group President Advanced Imaging Systems, Scientific affairs and EAME for Volcano Corporation www.volcanocorp.com , a medical device company which European operations were incubated within Medpole. Michel co-founded Cardio³ Biosciences  www.c3bs.com  in November 2003, a company dedicated to cell transplant solutions for Cardiovascular applications,  another creation  of Medpole. Michel Lussier started his career with Medtronic Corp., where he held number of positions varying from Clinical Engineering, Business Development, Sales and General Management at European levels.  Over the last 15 years, Michel has been a serial entrepreneur, with InControl, Novoste, Volcano Corp and more recently Cardio3 Biosciences. He has chaired a number of committees within   EUCOMED and has served on several  boards for medical devices start-up companies.

Christian Homsy, MS, BME, MBA — Chief Operating Officer

Christian Homsy is a physician trained in Orthopaedics, Surgery and Cardiovascular. He gained his business experience in senior Research & Development, Marketing, Business Development and Sales positions, at Guidant Corporation, where he also founded the Guidant Institute for Therapy Development, a landmark facility for Physician and Health Care professionals' education. Christian is CEO of Cardio3 Biosciences, a leading Belgian Biotech company in the area of Cardiovascular Therapies.

Patrick Jeanmart, MS — Chief Financial Officer

Patrick has served as our Chief Financial Officer since September 2007. Prior to joining Medpole, Patrick worked during 6 years for IBA (Ion Beam Applications, Belgium) where he held a number of senior financial management positions within several IBA subsidiaries located in Belgium, Italy, UK and the US. Between January 2004 and 2007, Patrick acted as Vice President of Finance of IBA Molecular. Patrick received a Master in Economics from the University of Namur, Belgium.
